PURPOSE:To quickly and smoothly execute the connection switching of an optical fiber connector by providing a positioning mechanism which is provided on a second clamp and executes positioning of the second clamp in accordance with no operation of the second clamp in accordance with an operation of the second clamp by a control cam mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is provided continuously so as to be freely rotatable on the second clamp 15 moved in the direction orthogonal to an axis of a first ferrule 1, and clamps 10, 15, and by operating both the clamps 10, 15, a connecting state between the first and second ferrules 1, 2 is released. Also, this device is provided with a control cam mechanism 22 for allowing the third ferrule to be opposed to the first ferrule 1, and also, connecting the first and third ferrules 1, 3, and a positioning mechanism 31 which is provided on the second clamp 15 and executes positioning of the second clamp 15 in accordance with an operation of the second clamp 15 by the control cam mechanism 22. Therefore, the connection switching of an optical fiber connector can be executed quickly and smoothly. |
