<p>A process for producing frames for windows, doors from plastic profiles, in particular leaf or casement frames, and frames produced by the said process are specified, the mitre-cut spars 22, 23 being pushed over the edge of the insulating glass pane 2 and the mitre surfaces 28 of the spars 22, 23 being joined to one another. By means of a sealing adhesive 15, arranged in the glazing groove 10 of the spars 22, 23, the insulating glass pane 2 and the spars 22, 23 form an undetachable unit. The aim of the invention is to improve substantially the joining of the individual spars 22, 23 with regard to strength and to allow the sealing adhesive to be arranged in the glazing groove in such a way that no finishing work on the said adhesive is necessary. According to the invention, the object is achieved by welding together the spars 22, 23 to be joined on the insulating glass pane 2, by centring the insulating glass pane 2 in the glazing groove 10 by means of a spacer web 12, one such web protruding out of the plane of each of the mutually parallel walls 11 of the glazing groove 10 and arranged at a distance from the free wall end, and by the sealing adhesive 15 being introduced after welding on both sides of the insulating glass pane 2 into the open groove 14 formed by the pane surface 13, wall 11 and spacer web 12. …<IMAGE>… </p> |
