PURPOSE:To improve the extent of shock-absorbability, by constituting a rim with the ring member unitized with a disc part and another ring member with an inward flange so as to an independent chamber in conjunction with a bend of the disc part, in case of a vehicle wheel having the independent chamber to be interconnected to the rim outside, in the disc part. CONSTITUTION:A rim R consists of a pair of ring members 19 and 21. And, the narrow rim constituent ring member 19 is solidly formed in a peripheral edge of a disc part 11. An inward flange 27 is formed in the wide rim constituent ring member 21, and each flat part of the narrow rim constituent ring member 19 and the disc part 11 is airtightly welded (23 and 29), forming an independent chamber 31 between a bend 17 of the disc part 11 and the inward flange 27. And, a through hole 33 is formed in the outside ring member 19, interconnecting the independent chamber 31 to the inside of a tire 25. With this constitution, capacity of this independent chamber is made enlargeable, thus shock-absorbability is improvable.
