PURPOSE:To prevent a malfunction of readout of a magnetic storage disk due to heat expansion by forming a gap part for preventing deformation at the time of heat expansion at an engaging part between a hub and a rotor member. CONSTITUTION:The gap part 14 for preventing deformation at the time of heat expansion is formed at an engaging part 15 between the hub 3 and the rotor member 5. Consequently, the hub 3 and the rotor member 5 are unrestrained from each other at the time of rising the temperature, and hence they are thermally expanded respectively almost in an individual independent state. Therefore, a partial distortion due to a bimetallic action will never happen. Then, a relative thermal distortion is not in existence between the magnetic storage disks 2... and the hub 3 for fitting them, which in general are both made of aluminum, while an actual rotating center of the hub 3 and magnetic storage disks 2... is kept under the state completely coincident with a center C of a shaft part. By this method, no malfunction, such as off-track, etc., will never arise when information read-write operations are performed by a magnetic head 18 on the magnetic storage disks 2..., even at the time of thermal expansion.
