PURPOSE:To shorten cycle time and to simplify the constitution of a tape take-up device, by installing a take-up table in a pallet itself. CONSTITUTION:A pair of hubs 54 and 55 which are connected with each other by means of a leader tape 56 is mounted on a pallet 15 and one of the hubs 54 and 55 can be rotated by means of a take-up shaft while it is put on the take-up table of the pallet 15. Moreover, direct contact between the take-up table and the pallet 15 main body by means of a table keeping member when the take-up table is engaged with the take-up shaft is prevented. Therefore, a magnetic tape 2 can be taken-up around the hub 55 without removing the hubs 54 and 55 mounted on the pallet 15 from the pallet 15 even though the constitution of the pallet 15 is simple and, as a result, the cycle time of take-up magnetic tape can be shortened.
