PURPOSE:To make an inner tube thin and simplify the structure by utilizing the evaporation gas of a refrigerant stored in the inner tube to cool it. CONSTITUTION:The periphery of a ceramic superconductive cable 1 is enveloped by an inner tube 2 at the preset space, and this inner tube 2 is further enveloped by an outer tube 4 at the preset space. A refrigerant A maintaining the ceramic superconductive cable 1 at the critical temperature or below is filled in the inner tube 2, and the evaporated gas of the refrigerant A is introduced into the space between the inner tube 2 and the outer tube 4. That is, the ceramic superconductive cable 1 can be maintained at the critical temperature or below by the refrigerant A filled in the inner tube 2, and also the inner tube 2 can be heat-insulated by the evaporated gas of the refrigerant A introduced into the space between the inner tube 2 and the outer tube 4. The inner tube 2 and the outer tube 4 are thereby not required to be formed into a pressure resistant structure, they can be made thin, and the structure can be simplified.
