PURPOSE:To obtain a small-type image recorder with small space occupied by a recording part, by using recording heads each of which comprises a linear array of light-emitting elements at one end on a base, and disposing the heads so as to be opposed in one end each, are radially arranged or overlap each other. CONSTITUTION:A wiring board 62 is provided on the surface of a flat plate type base 61, a linear light-emitting diode array 63 is provided along a side end part, while drivers 64 are fixed to the surface of the wiring board 62 in a row along the diode array 63, and a common electrode 65 is provided on the board 62. Electrodes 63B for the diode array 63 are connected to electrodes 64A of the drivers 64 by wire bonding 66, and the diode array 63 is connected to the common electrode 65 by an electrode layer 67 provided in the wiring board 62. Therefore, when recording heads 60, 60A with such a construction are so disposed that side end faces thereof on the sides of the light-emitting diode arrays 63, 63A are opposed to each other, an image recorder 10 with small space occupied by a recording part can be constructed. |
