PURPOSE:To improve the performance of ease of usage and to attain the convenience in use by blinking only an error detecting part of an information data and lighting a normal reception information data simultaneously for the display. CONSTITUTION:A pocket pager consists of a reception antenna 13, a reception section 14, an address setting section 15, an address collation section 16, an error detection section 10, an N-digit display element 11, a display control section 12, a sounding element 17 and a sound control section 18. Moreover, a telephone number memory 19 is provided. A received data is checked by the error detection section 10, and if an error is detected in the information data of the (N-1)-digit, that is, the figure '8', the '8' is blinked and other normal reception information data are lighted as the display. If an error takes place in the digit group (1st and 2nd digits), 'A' and 'B' are blinked for display simultaneously. Thus, the real data of blinked information caused by the error can be deduced from the other normal reception information data lighted for the display. |
