PURPOSE:To make it possible to securely prevent the projection of a pedal booster into a vehicle chamber at the time of forward collision by fixing the booster to a wheel house forward of a dash panel so as to doubly support collision force by means of the wheel house and the dash panel. CONSTITUTION:The front end of a floor panel 3 leads to a dash panel 21 extending in the vehicle width direction and the vertical direction. The panel 21 serves as the front wall of a vehicle chamber 2, and supports an accelerator pedal and a clutch pedal or addition to a brake pedal 22 which are located in the vehicle chamber 2. And, a distance from the dash panel 21 to the front end of a vehicle body is set to be relatively short, and moreover, a booster 23 for the brake pedal is arranged within a small space Z formed forward of the panel 21 in such a way as to be fixed to a wheel house 25. Therefore, the forward collision force can be doubly supported by means of the dash panel together with the wheel house in comparison with a structure only using the dash panel, thereby preventing projection of the booster into the vehicle chamber more effectively. |
