PURPOSE:To enable the supply of dehumidified defrosting air toward a glass surface at a high speed and improve defrosting performance without entrapping cabin air by closing a diffuser with a porous body permitting air passage at a position off the glass surface. CONSTITUTION:Dehumidified defrosting air supplied from a duct 4 is jetted toward the internal side of window glass from a diffuser 2 via a nozzle 1. A porous body 5 having small bore holes 6 is provided off a glass surface at the diffuser 2 and the jetted air is made to pass in a throttled condition. A large quantity of air can be jetted from the diffuser 2 near the surface of the window glass. In the aforesaid system, it is possible to jet the dehumidified defrosting air toward the surface of the window glass at a high speed and by a large quantity, while preventing the entrapping the air in a cabin. And it becomes possible to defrost effectively the window of a vehicle and the windscreen of an aeroplane, and improve defrosting performance.
