PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform and lengthy fiber by spinning a thread from a sol solution dispersed with fine grains made of a superconductive oxide in the specific SiO2 sol then heating it. CONSTITUTION:A thread is spun from a sol solution dispersed with fine grains made of a superconductive oxide in the SiO2 sol generated by the hydrolysis and poly-condensation reaction of tetraalkyl ortho-silicate (Si(OR)4) then heated to obtain a fiber. The oxide fine grains used here have the composition expressed by AaBbOc, for example, where A is at least one kind selected from a group of Ia, IIa, and IIIa group elements in the periodic table, B is at least one kind selected from a group of Ib, IIb, and IIIb group elements in the periodic table, and O is oxygen. A lengthy superconductive fiber with the uniform property can be obtained accordingly. |
