发明名称 METHOD FOR MOLDING FIBER REINFORCED PLASTIC VALVE BODY
摘要 PURPOSE:To contrive to improve the strength of boss parts, into each of which a valve shaft is inserted, by a method wherein small piece mats, each of which is made of glass fibers impregnated with thermosetting resin, are inserted in advance into axis, which support an insert, in the case of the charging and compression molding of glass fiber mats, just above and under the insert, which is supported in a cavity. CONSTITUTION:Molds are opened by shifting an upper mold 1a and a lower mold 1b vertically and at the same time side molds 2a and 2b horizontally. Small piece mats 61 made of glass fibers impregnated with thermosetting resin are inserted into the end parts of axis bars 3 and 3. After that, the side molds 2a and 2b are closed under the state that the tip parts of the axis bars 3 are inserted in the axis holes 42 (not shown on fig.) of a heated insert 4. Finally, a valve body 7 indicated in the drawing is obtained by compression-molding glass fiber mats 62 impregnated with thermosetting resin, which are respectively charged just above and under the insert 4, with the upper mold 1a and the lower mold 1b. As for the fiber mat 61, which covers the end face of the boss part 71 of a valve body 7, a mat, the content of glass fiber of which is higher than that of the fiber mat 62 changed just above or under the insert 4, is preferably used.
