PURPOSE:To constitute the system inexpensively without requiring the storage device of a large capacity by sending the content of request from a host computer through a line exclusive for retrieval when an information request from an attendant board or a service telephone set comes. CONSTITUTION:In calling an attendant board or service telephone sets 2A-2N from guest room telephone sets 4A-4N, a private branch exchange 1 outputs a calling guest room telephone number and a replied service telephone number to a reception section 61 of an interface controller 6 together with the retrieval request as telephone using information. A retrieval processing section 62 edits the inputted information into a form to be sent to the host computer 5 and sends the result to a line control section 63. The host computer 5 uses the received information as an argument to extract corresponding lodger information among the lodger information stored in advance and displays the lodger information to one of lodger information display devices 3A-3N corresponding to an attendant board or service telephone sets 2A-2N.
