摘要 PURPOSE:To enable recording with high image quality to be achieved irrespective of the quality of a paper, by specifying the quantity of one or a mixture of an alkylbenzenesulfonate, a dialkyl succinate sulfonate and a higher fatty acid salt added as a constituent of an ink, and specifying the quantity of ink droplets ejected from each nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A recording method wherein an ink comprising one or a mixture of an alkylbenzenesulfonate, a dialkyl succinate sulfonate and a higher fatty acid salt as a constituent in an amount of 0.5-10 wt.% is used and the quantity of an ink droplet is 0.01-0.2 mug displays an extremely favorable quick-drying property and high printing quality. The constituent has a very favorable property of wetting a paper, ensures rapid and uniform horizontal spreading of the ink, and therefore can prevent bleeding in the form of beard. For realizing high-density high-quality printing with a dot density of 360 dpi or 180 dpi, the quantity of one ink droplet may be set to be 0.01-0.2 mug, whereby a dot diameter of 80-200 mum can be obtained in conformity with the dot density, and recording with a favorable quick-drying property and without any bleeding can be performed.
