PURPOSE:To expand and observe the convergent state of a beam of light in an optical system in a three-dimensional way, by arranging the coordinate of a coordinate axis in an expansion range and the coordinate of the passage of the beam of light within the expansion range from an inputted visual angle in the three-dimensional way. CONSTITUTION:A first arithmetic means 5 finds the central coordinates X0, Y0, and Z0 of an X1 and X2 inputted by the beam tracing of a main beam of light, and also, calculates a Y1, a Y2, a Z1, and a Z2, then, sets the expansion range. (The X1, the X2, the Y1, the Y2, the Z1, and the Z2 represent the maximum values and the minimum values of an x-axis, a y-axis, and a z-axis possible to be taken by the expansion range, respectively). Next, the incident position of the beam of light on a pupil plane is found from light kind information and the number of the beams of light M by a second arithmetic means 6. Next, the beam tracing of one beam of light from an object point is performed, and also, the passage coordinate of the beam of light within the expansion range is calculated, and is displayed on a CRT. Afterwards, the value of a counter is incremented by one, and it is judged whether it is less than the number of the beams of light M, and when it is, the same operation is repeated. |
