PURPOSE:To eliminate a need of switching between the calculation result and input data after calculation by allowing a computing element itself to output the same data as input data designated by a data output instruction at the time of inputting the data input/output instruction. CONSTITUTION:This computing element consists of an operation code setting part 6, a PLA (programmable logic array) 27, a PLA 28, a carry input part 3, a carry adding part 7, a carry output part 2, etc. One of an adding instruction S8, a subtracting instruction S9, an input data A output instruction S10, and an input data B output instruction S11 is inputted to the operation code setting part 6, and the setting part 6 performs the logical operation to set operation codes S1, S2...S7. When the adding instruction S8 is inputted, operation codes are inputted from the operation code setting circuit 6 to PLAs 27 and 28 and the carry input part 3. Data A and B are added by the PLA 27, and addition data A+B is outputted from the PLA 27. |
