PURPOSE:To increase a processing speed and to reduce current consumption by using a low frequency clock to operate a control element at the time of indicating the start by an input means and using a high frequency clock to operate the control element at the time of next input operation. CONSTITUTION:A contact part 11 arranged in a position according with the standard of an IC card 10, a keyboard part 12, a display part 13 which is arranged on the upper face of the keyboard part 12 and consists of a liquid crystal display element, and magnetic generating members 14a and 14b are provided on the surface of the IC card 10. A clock control circuit 26 uses the low frequency clock to operate a CPU 28 at the time of indicating the start by the keyboard part 12 and uses the high frequency clock to operate the CPU 28 at the time of next input operation. |
