PURPOSE:To execute a dieless wire drawing with good efficiency with a low cost equipment by driving a feeding means and winding means at the speed ratio controlled by a single motor. CONSTITUTION:A material 12 is wound on a winding means 18 by the transmission mechanism 26 having the slip torque set by a clutch 28 with torque limiter with heating the material 12 fed out of a feeding means 16 by electrifying the induction heating coil of a heating means 14. Since the deformation resistance is larger than the slip torque at the initial time when the temp. of the material 12 is low the winding means 18 rotates at the same speed as that of a feeding means and the clutch 28 is slipping, but when the deformation resistance is balanced with the slip torque with the temp. of the material being raised, the clutch 28 is connected without any slip. The velocity ratio giving the specified percentage reduction is then attained to progress winding and the material is subjected to diameter reduction to execute dieless wire drawing. Meanwhile the feeding speed is kept constant and the winding speed is increased according to the deformation resistance of the material 12. The flowing speed of the material 12 into the induction heating coil becomes constant and the deformation starting point of the material is thus stabilized.
