PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption by obtaining a constant current in the saturation state of a MOS transistor TR. CONSTITUTION:In a MOS semiconductor device, a MOS TR 101 is used in the saturation state and the constant current is supplied to an object (load) 109 through MOS TRs 102-104 and switches 105-107. The drain current of the MOS TR 101 is determined by its peculiar conductance constant and the potential difference between the gate and the source, and the resultant value of conductance constants is changed in accordance with opening/closing of switched 105-107 to change the constant current to the load 109.
