At this time, optical fibers where incident light from a clockwise incidence end 1 and incident light from a counterclockwise incidence end 2 are propagated are wound adjacently to each other. Consequently, the temperature difference between the propagation paths for the clockwise and counterclockwise light beams can be eliminated. The equivalent input angular speed error due to time variation in the temperature variation is eliminated and an optical fiber gyroscope having excellent drift stability is obtained.
