PURPOSE:To enable the rapid desilverization of the titled material by incorporating a compd. capable of releasing a bleaching accelerator by a reaction with the oxidant of an aromatic primary amine color developing main agent in the titled material, and by executing a desilvering step with a processing solution contg. a ferric complex salt of an org. acid, and by specifying the total replenishing amount of the processing solution constituting the desilvering step to a prescribed condition. CONSTITUTION:The titled material contains the compd. capable of releasing the bleaching accelerator by a reaction with the oxidant of the aromatic primary amine color developing main agent, and the desilvering step is effected with the processing solution contg. at least the ferric complex salt of the org. acid. In the case that the amount of a coated silver is >=2.0g/1m<2> of the titled material, the total replenishing amount of the processing solution constituting the desilvering step is <=1,000ml/1m<2> of the titled material, while in the case that said amount of <2.0g/1m<2> of the titled material, said total replenishing amount is <=400ml/1m<2> of the titled material. Thus, the desilverization is rapidly effected with the very reduced replenishing amount of the processing solution in the desilvering step. |
