PURPOSE:To simplify the driving mechanism of a guide roll and to facilitate the positional adjustment of the guide roll by providing plural driving sources for moving the guide roll and connecting the position control means of the guide roll to the driving source. CONSTITUTION:In the case of making a spiral pipe of the min. diameter (d), it is changed by the inner arm 7b for the min. diameter and its pipe diameter, plate thickness and material are inputted to a control panel 30. The number of revolutions of a driving device 13 and motors 13a-13e is commanded by outputting respectively and a frame 5, arm 5a and each guide rolls 6b-6h are moved to rotate the driving device 13 an each motor 13a-13e by the specified revolutions. Then each sensor detects the number of revolutions, which is fed back to a control panel 30 to stop the frame 5, arm 5a and each guide roll 6a-6h immediately. Since the variation amt. of the pipe diameter parallels the guide roll movement amt. the positional control of each guide rolls 6b-6h is facilitated.
