PURPOSE:To enable operation of the title coil in liquid nitrogen by making a material wherein a ceramic superconducting material is provided spirally on a metal disk and by forming a coil by alternately laminating the counterclockwise spiral material and the clock wise spiral material. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic superconducting material 2 is provided spirally on a metal disk 1 in a unit disk and the clockwise spiral unit disk 32 and the counterclockwise spiral unit disk 31 are alternately laminated. Stainless steel, copper, a Cu-Ni alloy, etc., can be used for the base metal disk 1 and for the ceramic superconducting material 2, a perobuskite compound, e.g., such as Y-Ba-Cu-O, a material which shows superconductivity at a temperature of liquid nitrogen, is used. Making the same many disk like materials is only required and these can be made by printing or by molding at a low cost. Further, the superconducting material shows superconductivity at a high temperature so operation can be done by using liquid nitrogen for a refrigerant.
