发明名称 AUTOMATIC FOCUSING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To perform accurate focusing operation by selecting the deviation quantity where the movement distance of an image formation optical system is minimum along deviation quantities from plural focus positions which are outputted by an automatic focusing detecting means. CONSTITUTION:An AF detecting means 2 detects the focus deviation quantity of an image formed on an estimated focal plane by the image formation optical system 1 and its detection output is inputted to a focus position selecting means 3. Then when an automatic/manual operation member 4 selects and performs AF driving, a focus position selecting means 3 selects the deviation quantity where the movement distance of the image formation optical system 1 is minimum among quantities of deviation from plural focus positions which are inputted by the AF detecting means 2. A driving motor 5 rotates on receiving the output of this focus position selecting means 3 and a moving mechanism 6 is AF-driven to a focus position. When the automatic/manual operation member 4 selects manual driving, the moving mechanism is operated and driven manually to change the plural deviation quantities, thereby minimizing the deviation quantity of the focusing of a subject that a photographer intends.
