STRUCTURE OVERHAULING METHOD

PURPOSE:To easily overhaul a metal structure by forming the welding bead made from the metal of brittle nature by heating together with a filler metal the specified part of a metal structure and exerting a destruction external force on the part thereof. CONSTITUTION:The filler metal 2 composed of a core rod 2a and flux 2b is held by a holder 3 and the welding bead 10 by the filler metal 2 is formed by a welding power source 6 on the specified place of a metal made body 1 to be overhauled. The welding bead part is composed of the layer 11 having the crack of the alloy of extremely brittle nature, intermetal compound or ceramic with the melting mixture of the metal material 1 to be treated and filler metal and the slug layer 12 by the flux and can easily be destroyed and overhauled by exerting destruction external force from the external part.
