PURPOSE:To set the service of a callback by an extension number of a requesting personnel by confirming the setting of a terminal equipment for callback from information of setting the terminal equipment and revising the callback to a telephone set terminal equipment corresponding to the telephone number following the information of setting the terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:An extension number of a telephone number terminal equipment 12 is dialed from the call at a telephone set terminal equipment 10. When the telephone set terminal equipment 12 is busy, a central controller 40 gives a busy tone to a caller telephone set terminal 10 via a subscriber circuit 20. The caller telephone set terminal 10 dials the information setting callback terminal and an extension number '1135' of the telephone set terminal equipment 11 requiring the callback service. The central controller 40 discriminates the fact that the callback service is requested to the telephone set terminal 11 corresponding to the extension number '1135' by the telephone set terminal 10 after the call of the called telephone set terminal equipment 12 is finished, thereby setting the callback service.
