PURPOSE:To generate a rotational force suitable to >=2 types of the disk of a format, respectively by selecting and energizing the stator coil of either of at least >=2 pairs of the stator coil. CONSTITUTION:Stator coils 3 and 4 are fixed and provided at a base 5 so as to face to a rotor magnet 2. When a small disk 10 is rotated, a control circuit 12 is operated and energized to a stator coil 3 by the command of a microcomputer 15. When a large disk, for example, with the diameter of >=2 fold and >=4 fold in weight compared with a small disk 10 is mounted and rotated, control circuits 12 and 13 are operated by the command of the microcomputer 15, energized to both of the stator coil 3 and the stator coil 4 and the rotational force applicable to the large disk. Thus, the rotational force applicable to the disk of a different format, respectively, can be obtained and a stable rotation can be obtained. |
