PURPOSE:To write and read data on a memory module built in a tool holder in the manner of non-contact system to shorten process time by providing a pair of connecting magnetic induction coupling devices for connecting an induction coil through a signal line to a rotation preventing member for fixedly locating the tool holder. CONSTITUTION:A pair of connecting magnetic induction coupling devices 20, 22 for connecting induction coupling coils 24, 26, 28, 30 through signal lines 32, 34 to a rotation preventing member 18 for fixedly locating a tool holder are disposed respectively opposed to a magnetic induction device 4 embedded in the bottom of locating groove of tool holder and a magnetic induction device 4a of external device. Thus, when data are written or read to a memory module built in the tool holder, the data can be written and read in the manner of non-contact system while the holder is being moved. Any specific mechanical construction is not needed and the process time can be shortened. Also, transfer loss is small so that proper signals can be transmitted. |
