<p>PURPOSE:To increase the display speed by constituting a high speed picture buffer of a high speed readable storage device to preserve pictures accessed in the past. CONSTITUTION:A quick picture display device consists of a large-capacity picture preserving device 1, a high speed picture buffer management table 2, a high speed picture buffer 3, a picture editing device 4, a picture display device 5, and a non-volatile preserving device 6 for said table 2. At the time of displaying a picture, the picture editing device 4 searches contents of the table 2 to check whether the required picture exists in the high speed picture buffer 3 or not. If it exists in the buffer 3, the picture is taken out from the buffer 3 and is edited with variable data and is displayed on the picture display device 5. Since only pictures of high frequency are preserved in the buffer 3, the capacity and the cost of said buffer 3 are reduced and the overall picture display time is shortened.</p> |
