摘要 PURPOSE:To aim at speeding up the revolution of the spindles of a turret drilling machine by using a friction type transmission system for a transmission path in a spindle drive device, and by eliminating the necessity of a clutch so as to simplify a rotation transmitting mechanism for the spindle drive device. CONSTITUTION:A friction rollers 5 coupled to a spindle 4 located at specific position abuts against a drive friction disc 7 so that the rotating direction of a spindle motor is changed by 90 deg. and the rotation of the spindle motor is transmitted to the spindle 4 by means of the friction of the drive friction disc 7. The center axis of the drive friction disc 7 is not in alignment with the rotary center axis 31 of a turret head 1, that is, it is eccentric so as to be biased toward the above-mentioned specific position, and since the friction roller 5 is conical, and further since the surface 71 of the drive friction disc 7 with which the friction roller 5 is made into press-contact is inclined, other friction rollers 5 for other spindles 4 located other than the above- mentioned specific position are separated from the drive friction disc 7, and accordingly, the rotation of the spindle drive motor is transmitted only to the spindle 4 located at the specific position. A pre-load friction disc 8 is fitted on the shaft of the friction disc 7 so as to press and pinch the roller 5 of the spindle 4 located at the specific position, thereby it is possible to eliminate lateral load.
