PURPOSE:To manage entry and leaving at an entrance/exit with a single fingerprint collating device by providing a fingerprint data picking means across the incoming side and the outgoing side in the entrance/exit part of a specific management area. CONSTITUTION:A fingerprint collating device 1 is provided in an aperture part 2a of a wall 2 partitioning a space into the specific management are and the outside. A electric lock 4 of a door 3 in the entrance/exit part provided in the wall 2 is released based on the collation result of the fingerprint collating device 1, and a knob 5 is turned to open the door 3 after unlocking. A prism as a finger placing base 1a and a display part 1b on which permission of passage and the placing direction of a finger are displayed are provided on the upper face of the fingerprint collating device 1. An entry switch SW1 which is turned on four entry to the management area and a leaving switch SW2 which is turned on for leaving are provided on both sides of the fingerprint collating device 1 piercing the wall 22.
