PURPOSE:To perform the piping welding at a place with the narrow welding working space by providing a torch to move rotatively and providing a fixing means to fix a frame detachably on the outside peripheral surface of the piping in a state with a rotational driver inserted into the piping. CONSTITUTION:A movable part 26 of the fixing means 4 is opened and inserted from a notch 11 of the rotational driver into the outside peripheral surface 12 of a piping 12 part. Next, the movable part 26 is closed and locked on a base 25 by a locking lever 27 to fix the welding frame on the piping 12. Inert gas is injected from a nozzle 20 from a torch 5 to gas-seal a weld zone. Continuously, the high voltage is applied to a tungsten electrode 19 and an arc is discharged between the electrode 19 and the piping 12 to perform the welding. The rotational driver 2 is rotated at the prescribed speed in one direction to weld the periphery of the piping 12 continuously. By this method, the piping welding is performed at the place with the extremely narrow welding working space.
