PURPOSE:To raise the potential of a magnet roll and to prevent the photographic fogging of a back due to unevenness of the discharging of a destaticizing corotron by interposing a resistance between a magnet roll and the ground. CONSTITUTION:The resistance 7 with a 150-200MOMEGA resistance value is interposed between the magnet roll 6 of a magnet roll cleaning device 5 and the ground. Development is carried out possibly by a magnet roll when the potential of a photosensitive body 1 is raised up to a development start potential owing to unevenness or deterioration of the discharging of a destaticizer 3, but the resistance 7 is interposed to form a flow passage for charges of toner to be developed; the potential of the magnet roll 6 is raised by the current flowing through the flow passage to prevent the development, so that the fogging of the back is prevented. |
