PURPOSE:To make it possible to exhibit the muximum drive power performance of a vehicle as required, by providing an arithmetic operation means for detecting a time-differentiated value of intake vacuum so that a compressor is stopped when the differentiated value is less than a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:Air is subjected to temperatue control by being successively passed through an evaporater 2, an air mixing door 3 and a heater core 4 under the operation of a blower fan 1, and is blown out from a blow-off port. In such a device, there is provided an arithmetic operating circuit 9 to which output signals from a temperature sensor 5 and an engine intake vacuum sensor 7 are delivered. The arithmetic operating circuit 9 makes a computation through which a time-differentiated value of engine inlet vacuum is detected, and as well delivers, a turning-off signal when the time-differentiated value is less than a predetermined value, to a clutch between an engine and compressor 6 to stop the compressor 6. With this arrangement, the driver's intension is satisfied particularly with respect to vehicle speeds. |
