PURPOSE:To dampen the distribution of thermal stress of a burner plate and improve the thermal conducting efficiency for a group of thermal conducting pipes by a method wherein a thermal radiation member is arranged at clearances between the group of thermal conducting pipes in such a way as an aeration may be made and an inclined surface is arranged at a downstream side of the burner plate. CONSTITUTION:Pre-mixture gas of fuel gas from a nozzle 15 and air from a fan 14 is passed through flame holes of a burner plate 16, supplied to a combustion chamber 25, a surface-like flame is formed at an upper surface of a burner plate 16 to generate hot combustion gas, fed to an area of the first group 19 of thermal conducting pipes and heats the thermal conducting pipe 18 through a convection and thermal conducting action. The combustion gas of which temperature is slightly decreased is flowed within a honeycomb plate 22 to heat this honeycomb plate 22 and white heat the same. A radiation from the honeycomb plate 22 is passed through clearances of the thermal conducting pipes 18 and radiated strongly against the burner plate 16 in a belt-like manner. A part of the received radiation heat from an inclined surface of a conical projection 17 is radiated and the thermal conducting pipes 1 may also be radiated from upstream side and heated. Therefore, heating efficiency is improved and the temperature distribution of the burner plate 16 is also dampened.
