PURPOSE:To prevent exhaust air and an exhaust air/cooling water heat exchanger from condensation and corrosion respectively by adjusting the flow rate of the cooling water flowing the exhaust air/cooling water heat exchanger according to the fluctuation of the exhaust air. CONSTITUTION:The cooling water line 20 of an engine 12 is connected to an exhaust gas boiler 19, to which an exhaust air supply pipe 15 is connected. An exhaust gas temperature sensor 33 is installed to the exhaust air discharge pipe 24 connected to the exhaust air outlet port 23 of the boiler 19, and a magnetic flow control valve 36 is provided to the cooling water line 20. While exhaust gas temperature is below the preset value, a controller 45 inputs the signals from the exhaust gas temperature sensor and reduces the flow rate of cooling water or stops the cooling water by operating the control valve 36. This can prevent exhaust gas and the exhaust gas boiler from condensation in the boiler while the temperature of the exhaust gas is low and corrosion, respectively.
