PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a solenoid by rotating a rotary body by a rotary spring, and lowering a card guide plate by a return spring and separating its internal contact from the contact of an IC card. CONSTITUTION:The solenoid 13 only disengages the tip part of the rotary body 17b from a pin 37 by the attraction of a plunger 13a and then rotates the rotary body 17b with the spring force of an open spring 29. Further, the rotary body 17a is rotated with the spring force of the return spring 32 to lower the card guide plate 16, thereby separating the internal contact 22 from the contact of the IC card 2. Consequently, even when the attracting force of the solenoid 13 is relatively small, there is no problem and the size of the solenoid 13 is reducible to make the whole device compact.
