<p>PURPOSE:To improve position detecting accuracy by providing an annular shielding case to store a holder, a magnetic core and a detecting coil. CONSTITUTION:When the magnetic fields produced by electrodes 9 and 10 are detected by a detecting coil 4, the magnetic flux supplied from the outside of a shielding case 7A is cut off by the electromagnetic shielding function of the case 7A and has no interlinkage to the coil 4 since this coil 4 is covered by the case 7A. However the magnetic flux having no interlinkage to the case 7A receives no electromagnetic shielding function produced by the case 7A among those magnetic fluxes produced by both electrodes 9 and 10 and therefore has the interlinkage to the coil 4 to be detected as a signal. Furthermore, the noise caused by the capacity connection between the coil 4 and a circuit of an input tablet are cut off by the electrostatic shielding function of the case 7A.</p> |
