PURPOSE:To enable stroboscopic photographing even at the first photographing, by starting a charging operation to a main capacitor of a stroboscopic device, after having detected the end of film blind feed operation by a detecting means. CONSTITUTION:When a holding state signal STO is being generated, when a film is loaded and a rear cover is closed, a switch 8 and a rear cover switch 9 are turned on and a film existing signal FILM and a rear cover closing signal BACK are generated, outputs of an AND gate 23 and an FF 30 are inverted to H, a signal of 3 bits is inputted to a decoder 31 and a signal is outputted from the decoder 11, and a camera is shifted to a state 11. As a result, a motor driving controller operates and brings the film to a blind feed, and when it is ended, a signal 4SPRO is outputted from a counter 15, outputs of an AND gate 17, an OR gate 21 and a JKFF 28 go to H, and a signal of 3 bits is inputted to the decoder, a signal 12 is outputted and a signal ST11 annihilates. Subsequently, a signal 13 is outputted, a transistor 32 is turned on, and charging of a main capacitor 40 is started.
