PURPOSE:To ensure highly efficient debugging only by writing a trace output instruction in an optional check point of a program functioning as a debugging target by comparing trace information with correct answer data and controlling the transfer of the trace information to a processor. CONSTITUTION:A correct answer data memory means 3 stores previously the correct answer data corresponding to the trace information outputted, based on a trace output instruction pit in an optional check point of a program. At the same time, a trace information memory means 2 stores the trace information outputted, based on the trace output instruction put in an optional check point of the program. Then a transfer control means 4 compares the trace information stored in the means 2 with the correct answer data stored in the means 3 and controls the transfer of the trace information to a processor. Thus the debugging job efficiency is improved.
