The present invention relates to a single-use slipper permitting protection and foot hygiene in temporary-stay places where the user has no alternative but to be barefoot, in stocking feet or in outdoor shoes. The single-use slipper consists of a sole 1 and of a strap 2 covering the top of the foot, "the instep". It is produced in a single material, sheet expanded polyethylene; non-slip material which is only slightly absorbant and very light. The single-use slipper according to the invention is intended particularly for hotel bedrooms and bathrooms, hospital rooms and swimming pools. <IMAGE>
