PURPOSE:To correctly measure the performance of an A/D converter or the interference performance due to a noise by writing digitally converted video data in a memory and reading and displaying one horizontal scanning period. CONSTITUTION:When a TV signal is inputted to a terminal 51, one of the converted data is applied to one terminal of a switch 58 via an amplifier 52, the A/D converter 57 and the other is stored in the memory 60. The data in outputted to the terminal B of the switch 58 according to the control pulse of a memory control 56. Simultaneously, the control 56 controls the memory 61 for storing horizontal and vertical deflecting data to read data for horizontally deflecting and vertically deflecting the electron beam of a display 67 and deflect the electron beam of the display 67 through D/A converters 63, 64 and amplifiers 65, 66. The switch 58 is switched from A to B to read the data of the one horizontal scanning period from the memory 60 and display a picture signal on the display 67.
