PURPOSE:To make it possible to manufacture a superconductive wire easily by heating the tip of a rod-formed member consisting of a sintered body of a ceramic type superconductor and pulling to form into a minute line, while cooling the part of the thready wire member. CONSTITUTION:A rod-formed material 10 is composed by using a round rod of sintered body 11 of a ceramic type superconductive material, and sharpening the tip 11a of the sintered body 11 into a tapering conic form. By holding such a rod-formed material 10 at the holding mechanism 1 of a linear material processing device, and by pulling downward in a high speed while heating and melting near the tip 11a of the sintered body 11 with a heating device 2, it is processed into a fine wire to form a thready wire 12, and then the part of the thready wire 12 is cooled with a cooling device 3 and wound up on a winding device 5 through a guide 4. In this case, the heating temperature is set in a scope to make the viscosity of the sintered body between 10<2> and 10<6> poise. |
