PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of strength in the end of flow range by a method in which a latticed framework having a small upper end open space is settled in the placing area of concrete, and concrete is orderly placed into the small space. CONSTITUTION:A floating caisson 10 having an opening 12 on its center and a cutting edge on the downside of side wall 16 of its double-wall structure is settled down to the seabed E, and the ground below the opening 12 and the wall 16 is excavated until the heating layer E1 is reached. A given height of flat side plates 38 are assembled into a latticed form to form a framework 36, and dowels 40 are projectionally provided for the walls of the side plates 38 to form many small spaces 42. The framework 36 is set in the opening 12 and underwater concrete is orderly placed into the spaces 42, where the flow range of the concrete is limited within the spaces 42.
