PURPOSE:To construct a continuous wall under good condition by a method in which a back propulsive device is fixed, a front propulsive device is pushed out, the ground ahead of the propulsive device is excavated, and the excavated soil is mixed with a hardener and packed. CONSTITUTION:A back propulsive device 30 is fixed, the pressed condition toward the wall of a pit is released, and a front propulsive device 20 is pushed out to allow the left- and right-hand plates of the device 20 to approach each other. A pit 2 is excavated in front of the propulsive device 15 by an auger 11, and the device 200 is advanced toward the pit 1. The excavated soil is mixed with a hardener and packed into the back side of the back partition plate 13. The shape of the pit 1 can thus be kept exactly and the thickness of the continuous wall can also be set up exactly.
