<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a cassette from being inserted upside down and to protect a device, etc., from damage by providing an antiinserting lever supported in such a way as immovable in the direction of the tape cassette insertion but movable in the vertical direction against a sliding surface. CONSTITUTION:The antiinserting lever 5 is turnably supported by an engaging pin 6 above a cassette housing base 1, and normally a tip part 9 of the antiinserting lever 5 is positioned a little farther apart from a thickness L2 of the tape cassette 2 as a distance L4 above the sliding surface 1a and for this purpose, a contact part 7 is brought into contact with the cassette housing base 1 by a tension spring 8. When the tape cassette 2 if inserted upside down is run on a stopper 3, a front bottom edge step part 4 of the cassette 2 is engaged with the acting point 9 of the antiinserting lever 5 by this antiinserting lever 5, so that further insertion is prevented.</p> |
