PURPOSE:To perform the molding of a decorative frame as well as a decorative pattern in one process and reduce the manufacturing cost of a decorative sheet, by a method wherein a pattern molding recess is formed so as to be opened on the side of the surface of a substrate while a resin pouring gap is provided between the side end surface of the substrate and the side wall of a molding tool. CONSTITUTION:Pattern molding grooves 7 for molding a decorative pattern 5 are formed on the upper end lower sides as well as the left and right sides of the surface 6 of a substrate 2 in a condition that the grooves 7 has the passing port 8 of resin at both side ends while a groove 17, surrounding side end surfaces 3, is formed at the intermediate part of the direction of the thickness of the side end surfaces 3. Subsequently, the surface 6 of the substrate 2 is arranged so that the surface 6 of the substrate 2 is faced to the bottom wall 12 of the main body 10 of the molding tool in a condition that a resin pouring gap 15 is provided between the side end surfaces 3 and the side wall 14 of the main body 10. Thereafter, a lid member 11 is fitted and the resin is poured through a pouring port 16. After the resin is cured and comes into contact with the substrate 2, a decorative sheet 1 is taken out of the molding tool 9. The resin is poured into the pattern molding recess 7 and the resin pouring gap 15 in such a manner, then a decorative frame 4 and the decorative pattern 5 may be molded in one process. |
