PURPOSE:To improve the durability of an IC cartridge reader/writer as well as the contact stability of a contact terminal of an IC cartridge, by specifying the attachment positions of a prescribed number of contacts against a mover. CONSTITUTION:The base parts of a prescribed number of contacts 62 are dispersedly fixed at the front and rear end sides centering on the centroid position of a mover 2. Thus the reaction given from an IC cartridge C is dispersed almost evenly between each pin protruded to the mover 2 and the guide groove which supports the pin. As a result, the biased wear of each member is avoided so that the durability is improved for the cartridge C. At the same time the contact stability is also improved between the contacts 62 and the contact terminal patterns E1-E8 of the cartridge C respectively.
