PURPOSE:To enable removal of very fine sludge which has not been infeasible and to eliminate use of cleaning tank, by collecting fine sludge in an oil into enlarged sludge and separating the sludge by a centrifugal separator CONSTITUTION:A tank to store contaminated oils is equipped with a circuit consisting of pumps 2, 4 and 9, a pressure-control valve 13, a heater 5, a three- way valve 14, a sludge collector 10 and a centrifugal separator 11. First fine sludge in the oil is collected by change of the three-way valve 14 by the sludge collector 10 into enlarged sludge. Then the enlarged sludge is separated by the centrifugal separator 11, removed and the circuit is maintained at low pressure of about 0.5kg/cm<2> by the pressure-control valve 13 to clean the oils.
