PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of production by extraction-molding a material in color different from a spacer main body along with the body, forming them in one body and coloring the spacer. CONSTITUTION:The outer periphery of the spacer 1 is hollowed at three points to house optical fiber cores 3. The housing parts are called the hollow parts 2. Apart from the middle point of the circle, the spacer 1 is provided with colored parts so as to identify the core. Namely, in order to color the outer periphery of the spacer and the inside thereof other than the middle point, the material in color different from the spacer main body is extraction-molded along with the spacer main body. Thus the efficiency of producing the cable is substantially raised, and simultaneously the transmission characteristic of the optical fiber core can be stabilized. |
